This training is being offered as an online live training for the Central California Adult Services Training Academy (CCASTA)!
Dr. Lande will explore the role of brain imaging and medical tests, including emerging amyloid blood tests, clarify what neuropsychology is (and isn’t), and show how comprehensive neuropsychological assessment can strengthen your investigations, documentation, and case planning. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of decision-making capacity and its assessment, learn what to expect from a neuropsychological evaluation, and discover how to collaborate effectively to support better outcomes for clients. Grounded in real-world APS practice and research, this training equips staff with sharper insight, stronger language for reports, and greater confidence when cognitive impairment and capacity are at the center of the case.
