About Dr. Lande
Dr. Erik Lande is a licensed clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist specializing in neuropsychological assessment, dementia, cognitive impairment, and decision-making capacity. He is the founder of Insight Neuropsychology and an experienced professional educator who provides trainings for Adult Protective Services, Public Guardians, other social service professionals, healthcare professionals, law enforcement, attorneys, and other professionals who work with older adults.
Drawing on his clinical experience working with individuals with dementia, brain injury, neurological disorders, and complex capacity concerns, Dr. Lande translates neuroscience and neuropsychological research into practical strategies that professionals can use in their everyday work. He is known for engaging presentations, real-world case examples, and practical tools that participants can immediately apply in their practice.

Dr. Robert Duff is lead neuropsychologist at Insight Neuropsychology, specializing in neuropsychological assessment, cognitive disorders, and psychotherapy. An experienced presenter and educator, he is known for translating complex psychological and neuropsychological concepts into engaging, accessible, and practical information.
Dr. Duff is the bestselling author of the Hardcore Self Help book series, addressing topics including anxiety and depression, and hosts The Hardcore Self Help Podcast, where he explores mental health, psychology, and neuroscience. He has provided or assisted with professional trainings for organizations including the California Association of Public Administrators, Public Guardians, and Public Conservators, as well as law enforcement agencies.
Ulrike Nagorsen, Ph.D.
Dr. Ulrike Nagorsen is a California-licensed clinical psychologist specializing in neuropsychology and rehabilitation, with extensive experience helping individuals and families navigate the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral challenges associated with neurological conditions. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Tübingen, Germany, and conducted doctoral research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), investigating brain mechanisms involved in recovery after stroke.
Before joining Insight Neuropsychology, Dr. Nagorsen worked in neurological rehabilitation and private practice in Germany. Her clinical work focuses on supporting individuals with brain injuries, dementia, and other neurological conditions, as well as helping families and caregivers implement practical strategies for managing cognitive and behavioral changes. She has also contributed to NeuroPsyched professional trainings, bringing her research background and clinical experience to presentations on neurological conditions and their real-world impact.
